Keep Your Right to Read!
TELL MACMILLAN TO STOP THE LIBRARY EMBARGO!
Macmillan, one of the world’s largest publishing companies, no longer supports your right to get the books you want, when you want, from your public library. They plan to limit all public libraries, including the entire Nassau Digital Doorway consortium, to only ONE COPY of new e-books for the first two months of release.
Libraries will be effectively banned from buying the new e-books that you want to read. This unprecedented embargo hurts library users like you – the very people who enjoy and support the authors published by Macmillan.
Visit eBooksForAll.org to sign the petition. Post about it on social media. Share with friends, family, and fellow readers. Tell Macmillan that you want to keep your right to read!
